About Me

Kristen Lee is a Chinese American second generation immigrant, a gay musician, a science teacher, and a media artist based in Anaheim, CA. She has a bachelor’s in Psychobiology from UCLA and a master’s in Teaching from UCI. Most importantly, she lovesss food, having grown up in the San Gabriel Valley surrounded by an array of authentic Asian flavors (dumplings, dim sum, oh my!) and a boba shop on every corner.

As an artist, Kristen is inspired by humans who are healing, carving their own path, and learning who they are. To her, creating is an endless attempt at trying to capture a feeling, preserve a moment, or share in an experience. “The Art of ‘To Taste’” is her debut zine publication.
